During inspections, propeller hub found cracked. Necessary rectifications planned.

MCCAULEY PROPELLERS 3GFR34C703–ATA 6123 PROPELLER FEATHERING/REVERSING–Power control lever–knobs unscrewed. DR 611649442
On short finals, two knurled knobs used to lift the power lever over the BETA gate separated from the power lever. Landing was conducted successfully and aircraft was able to be put into beta/reverse pitch. Knobs were located, reattached to the power lever and secured to each other.

Auto feather did not arm on take-off. Auto feather switch was in the on position. Aural take off warning was heard. Fault could not be replicated. System serviceable.

During take-off on rotation, #2 engine had an uncommanded auto feather event. The aircraft continued to climb, QRH actioned, #2 engine inflight shutdown carried out. Air return conducted and aircraft landed safely. FDR interrogated and P&W advised that the over torque peak was estimated at 132.5% for a duration of 100 seconds, then linearly decreased to 123.8% for the next 60 seconds.
