Auto feather failed to arm during take-off prompting “Take off Auto feather” aural warning. Rejected take off. Later on, static take-off was performed, the system armed and the flight continued without event. There was no repeat occurrence on the return sector, however as a precaution engineering carried out a full operational check on next flight. Operational check was satisfactory.

Prop delamination discovered on post flight on arrival. Suspect preparation of surface area of blade not carried out correctly. Prop blade was replaced with relevant maintenance completed.
