CONTINENTAL O200 A–ATA 7810 ENGINE COLLECTOR/TAILPIPE/NOZZLE–Exhaust Muffler End Cap–BLEW OUT. DR 611851532
On climb, pilot noticed exhaust noise was getting louder, with no loss in power. Continued to climb, however smoke started to enter the cockpit. On landing, on opening the cowl door, RH exhaust was found to have aft muffler end cap blown out. Replacement planned.
LYCOMING O360 J2A–ATA 8520 RECIPROCATING ENGINE POWER SECTION–Fanwheel cone–CRACKED. DR 611851603
During inspection fan wheel attach cone found cracked. Possible vibration from drive belts, and or material fault. New drive belts, fanwheel and fanshaft fitted.
ATA 8530 RECIPROCATING ENGINE CYLINDER SECTION–INLET VALVE–FAILED. DR 611851622
LH engine was shut down due to power loss in flight. #4 cylinder was replaced due inlet valve failed. Remaining piece has also damaged #3, 4, 5 and 6 cylinders as well. All 6 cylinders removed for inspection and replaced as required.
