ATA 3246 WHEEL/SKI/FLOAT–HUB–CRACKED–PART NO. AHA1489. DR 611851803 (images above)
During scheduled off-wing inspection and following disassembly of the main wheel halves, a visible crack was found in the wheel inner half hub. Crack originates from the bearing bore and travels outwards towards the half hub mating surface. The wheel half will be scrapped in accordance with the CMM. The OEM (Meggitt and BAe) have been informed.

Several life vests failed inspection against AWB. Same replaced. Lifejackets removed from service.

Four x inner basket pole sockets found cracked. After discussions with the manufacturer, seems that it is a combination of transportation, loading, offloading from trailer and windy inflations as well as fast landings. This type of defect has been experienced before and manufacturer is aware of the issue.

Load frame had developed cracks along welded joints. After discussing it with the manufacturer, it seems that this is occurring during road transportation and offloading and loading of basket. This type of defect has been experienced before and manufacturer is aware of the issue.
