USG Herve Ladsous launches drones on Goma airport

The ResQu project – co-funded through the Queensland State Government Smart Futures Fund, Boeing Research and Technology Australia, Insitu Pacific Ltd., CSIRO and QUT. The project will undertake the safety studies and develop the automated safety technologies necessary to enable the timely approval of UA for disaster recovery, as well as routinely delivering benefits through surveys for biosecurity and resource management.
In December 2013, the German Deutsche Post AG tested a microdrones md4-1000 for delivery.
