HAMILTON STANDARD 14SF-23/SFA13()-OA–ATA 6120 PROPELLER CONTROLLING SYSTEM–PCU–FAULTY. DR 611851828
Number 2 propeller over speed event on finals. RPM then reduced back to normal range. Prop feathered as per procedure. On ground, erratic MAX NP governing speed was confirmed. Further troubleshooting carried out, propeller control unit (PCU) replaced and aircraft tested serviceable. PCU OEM has been notified. Investigation is continuing.
