HAMILTON STANDARD 14SF-15 – ATA 6111 PROPELLER BLADE SECTION – Bearing Race – SHATTERED. DR 611953532
Aircraft landed with oil steaming from the LH propeller. Oil observed on LH propeller spinner. #4 blade found leaking. All propeller blades removed. Scoring found on hub due shattered #4 blade bearing race. #3 blade seal rubbing strip also found scored as well. Propeller assembly replaced, Propeller balance carried out. Investigations are continuing.
DOWTY-ROTOL LIMITED R375/4-123-F/21 – ATA 6140 PROPELLER INDICATION SYSTEM – PIN – BURNT. DR 611953537
Flight idle stop open light on after gear retraction. Burnt pin and socket on relay 20GA. Troubleshooting carried out in all conditions and was unable to reproduce the fault. For fault evaluation, relay 19GA and 20GA replaced. On further investigation found X1 pin on 20GA to have burnt pin and socket. Associated socket replaced.
MT-PROPELLER ENTWICKLUNG GMBH MTV-34-1-A – ATA 6111 PROPELLER BLADE SECTION – PROPELLER BLADE – Missing Safety rings. DR 611953583
During 100 hrs inspection, two safety rings in two blades found with parts missing. Propeller was removed. Same defect was observed at 134.9 Hrs on one blade. Blade sent to approved repair facility.
