Root cause: Right-hand up lock switch unserviceable. Corrective action: Right-hand up lock switch replaced with new P/N 602EN55-6B. Left-hand up lock switch adjusted in accordance with the Cessna 404 service manual. Retractions carried out, serviceable, hydraulic reservoir fluid level OK. |

Actuating rod found slightly bent when carrying out Service Bulletin GA8-2005-23 Issue 4 Part C.
No handle with an integral stop to prevent over rotation installed. SB-GA8-2005-23 Issue 4 was released to address the issue with over-rotating handles. The rod inspection was previously carried out in January-2019 and the rod was replaced because a bent rod was found. |

Aircraft had a large fuel leak from left stub wing access panel.
Root cause: End fitting of the flexible hose Diamond P/N A23865-06 found to be separated from hose but fitting retained the outer green braided sleeving of hose assembly. Diamond aircraft has been notified of the defect. |

Both left-hand and right-hand rudder cables suspected to have cracked AFT terminals. Both left hand and right-hand rudder cables replaced with new in accordance with Cessna 152 maintenance manual and McFarlane compatibility chart. |

Pilot reported that elevator and rudder trim was difficult to operate at low outside air temperature. Root cause: Tail/Empennage drain holes blocked. At high altitude, frozen water is suspected to cause reported defect. Drain holes cleared. |
