|Pieces of white plastic found in oil during routine servicing. Seal ring, non-metallic has been liberated from the compressor output shaft. The pieces were then captured in the oil.|

|Category 3 debris found in engine oil on scheduled inspection.|
|GENERAL ELECTRIC CF34 3B – ATA 7530 COMPRESSOR BLEED CONTROL – VSV lever arm – BROKEN. DR 611954118|
|During scheduled maintenance on RH engine, 5th stage compressor Stator Variable Vane actuating arm was found broken off at 6 o’clock position and lying in the cowl. The affected VGV spindle is seized and cannot be rotated.
Rectification of this defect is working in progress with engine manufacture (GE) involved. More info to be provided when available.
|CFM CFM56 7B 26 – ATA 7310 ENGINE FUEL DISTRIBUTION – FUEL MANIFOLD – CHAFING. DR 611954145|
|During routine maintenance, engineers found chaffed No2 engine fuel manifold.
A tooling pin was found jammed against No2 engine fuel manifold and outer combustor case causing wear to manifold.
Aircraft declared AOG, rectifications planned.
|ROLLS ROYCE BR700 715A130 – ATA 7321 FUEL CONTROL/TURBINE ENGINES – SYNCHROPHASE SYS – SUSPECT FAULTY. DR 611954156|
|Left and Right engines EPR mismatching, reported on number of flights.
Flight crew advised nil vibration felt through flight controls. Suspect possible fault due to engine synchro phasing system.
Synchro phasing system utilises EEC 1, EEC 2, FCC 1, FCC 2, FMU 1&2. T/shooting c/o by LRUs being transposed for further flight evaluation as system unable to be tested on ground.
