- Description: Pilot of private helicopter chose to make precautionary landing after phone fell from mount. High elevation of landing site required run-on landing as helicopter could not hover. Skid struck tussock grass and helicopter rolled. Tail boom detached. No injuries to 4 POB.

- Description: After ELT signal received, firefighting helicopter on ferry flight from Malaysia found to have crashed. Passenger died at scene. Pilot received minor injuries.
