MCCAULEY PROPELLERS 4HFR34C652–ATA 6110 PROPELLER ASSEMBLY–PROPELLER–GROUND STRIKE. DR 611750669
During ground manoeuvre, RH propeller tip made contact with an above ground runway light. Inspections found one blade had sustained damage to a length of 10 mm accompanied with a slight rearwards bending moment. Investigations are ongoing. Engine/prop replaced. Unscheduled inspections were carried out on fuselage, engine bay and MLGs as required.

HAMILTON STANDARD 14SF-23–ATA 6120 PROPELLER CONTROLLING SYSTEM–PCU–SUSPECT FAULTY. DR 611750682
During take-off Tq set @ 90%, #1 NP was observed to indicate 1214 RPM, whereas under static check, NP indicated between 1190 to 1197 RPM. Suspect PCU at fault, PCU was replaced. Engine rigging carried out, spring strut was adjusted along with MFC to PCU control rods. Follow-up checks satisfactory.

After landing, owing to RH propeller governor fault, asymmetric thrust caused excessive yaw. Governor replaced. OEM notified.

DOWTY-ROTOL LIMITED R390/4-123-F/27–ATA 6114 PROPELLER HUB SECTION–HUB–CRACKED. DR 611750815
During inspections against AD/PR/33 and DOWTY SF 340 SB 61- 95 Rev 7, RH Propeller S/N DRG XX hub was found with a crack at one hole location. Propeller deemed unserviceable and sent for repair.
