GENERAL ELECTRIC CT7 9B – ATA 7210 TURBINE ENGINE REDUCTION GEAR – Prop Gear Box – CORRODED. DR 611953326
During RH propeller replacement, propeller tip material found missing. PGB shaft inspection was then checked out, considerable corrosion, pitting and erosion located around both dowel pin holes. In accordance with GE CT7 MM CH72-10-00 PGB Inspection Para 5 A (4) Nil corrosion pitting allowed around the dowel pin hole. PGB will be removed from service.

IAE V2527 A5 – ATA 7321 FUEL CONTROL/TURBINE ENGINES – EIU – SUSPECT FAULTY. DR 611953332
Autoflight ATHR off and EIU2 Fault on departure. ATB carried out. PRF shows ENG2 EIU fault 73-25-34 check EIU2 ARCINC output to FADEC or EIU2. EIU #2 replaced for troubleshooting.

GENERAL ELECTRIC CT7 2E1 – ATA 7297 TURBINE/TURBOPROP ENGINE WIRING – CANNON PLUG – LOOSE. DR 611953421
#2 EECU MAINT CAS illumination with #2 ENG PWR LIM CAS illumination. Relevant cannon plug loose. Plug re seated, tightened, tests satisfactory.

CFM CFM56 7B 22 – ATA 7830 THRUST REVERSER – THRUST REVERSER – FAILED TO DEPLOY. DR 611953429
Upon landing, both reversers levers would not go past the interlock. No.1 engine had no reverser indication and both ‘reverser’ lights illuminated. EAU (engine accessory unit) BITE test completed. However, Eng #1 shows faults s831, s835, s834, s832 & s836, 806. Relative TSM followed. Reverser , Interlock operation normal. Defect unable to be duplicated.

PRATT AND WHITNEY PT6A 42 – ATA 7250 TURBINE ENGINE TURBINE SECTION – GUIDE VANE – DAMAGED. DR 611953432
During a routine borescope inspection, 1/2 of one of the lower guide vanes is missing allowing gas path straight on to the CT disk. No reported defects or exceedances. Repair by replacement of the CT guide vane, new CT disk blades and segments.
