EMBRAER ERJ170100 – ATA 5610 FLIGHT COMPARTMENT WINDOWS – WINDSHIELD – Burning Smell. DR 611953955
Electrical burning smell and smoke.
Root cause: Resistive heating at the terminal block connection point.
Wiring / relevant inspections completed satisfactory.
BAE BAE146 300 – ATA 2760 DRAG CONTROL SYSTEM  – Aileron disconnect – BROKEN. DR 611953973
During taxi, left roll spoiler full deflection noted during control check. Whilst inputting left aileron ‘AIL/EL UNCPLD’ caution illuminated on the MWP as well. Vol 3 pt3 carried out.

Aileron disconnect found broken. Aileron interconnect detent strut reset IAW AMM 27-11-17. Aileron disconnect unit reset IAW AMM 27-11-34.

AIRBUS A320 232 – ATA 2810 FUEL STORAGE – CAP – Part Departed Aircraft. DR 611953981
Crew reported LH wing refuel coupling cap missing on arrival. Nil damage evident on refuel coupling and surrounding area. CDL 28-01 applied for initial dispatch. LH Wing fuel cap replaced.
BAE AVRO146RJ 85 – ATA 3240 LANDING GEAR BRAKE SYSTEM  – BRAKE – FAILED. DR 611954006
During course of engine start-up, aircraft rolled forward and impacted a light tower structure immediately in front of hanger. Currently under investigation.
SAAB 340 B – ATA 3010 AIRFOIL ANTI-ICE/DE-ICE SYSTEM – De Icer Boot – PUNCTURED. DR 611954007
During accomplishment of local inspection task, RH horizontal stabilizer de-icer boot found the to have a section of ballooning when been tested. The ballooning is between two air tubes and approx. 75mm long. It is located on the third stitch line up from the lower rear edge and 850 mm outboard of the air inflation tube.

Investigation is underway, OEM will be notified.

AIRBUS A320 232 – ATA 3213 MAIN LANDING GEAR STRUT/AXLE/TRUCK – PIN – SHEARED. DR 611954010
After take-off, ECAM “L/G DOORS NOT CLOSED” message presented. ATB initiated after confirming doors not closed.

During maintenance inspections, torque link/shimmy damper pin appears to have sheared and migrated from the L/H LG leg. Fractured pin departed from LH MLG torque link assy recovered from runway.

Airbus engaged for further maintenance and return to service.

BOEING 717 200 – ATA 2810 FUEL STORAGE – FUEL TANK – CONTAMINATED. DR 611954026
Scheduled fuel test indicated a high positive reading in RH main tank sample. Repeat sample confirmed high value. Internal tank cleaning done.

Additional finding of a blockage to the fuel scavenge system which showed swarf as well as sealant present. Scavenge rake removed cleaned and fitted. Tanks closed and all functional and operational checks c/o satisfactory.

BOEING 737 838 – ATA 3230 LANDING GEAR RETRACT/EXTENSION SYSTEM  – HYDRAULIC FUSE – FAULTY. DR 611954039
After take-off, gear retraction initiated, MLGs failed to retract, however NLG indicated up.
Air turn back to departing base executed.
Root cause: MLG retract pressure fuses suspected faulty.
Both fuses replaced.
BOEING 787 8 – ATA 2520 PASSENGER STATION EQUIPMENT SYSTEM – POWER CONTROL MODULE – SMOKE. DR 611954041
IFE screens at XX are u/s as pax reported sparks and electrical smell from IFE box under seat prior to screens failing.
Rectifications: Seat Power Module replaced.
DE HAVILLAND DHC8 315 – ATA 2730 ELEVATOR CONTROL SYSTEM  – LOOM – INCORRECT ROUTED. DR 611954057
During flare on landing, elevators jammed, and the aircraft was not able to be pitched upwards of 2-3 degrees. Relevant rigging, cable tension checked satisfactory.

Root cause: Maintenance error, RH Elevator ‘Horn Heat’ wiring loom found protruding between the upper fixed and lower moveable elevator panel. Wiring loom re-routed, loom was not damaged.

Investigations are continuing.
