| PILATUS BN2B 26 – ATA 7810 ENGINE COLLECTOR/TAILPIPE/NOZZLE – EXHAUST PIPE – LEAKING. DR 611954366 | ||
| Throttle/Prop controls become stiff, seizing up approx 9 mins from landing. Pilot reduced power on that engine as much as possible and conducted a normal landing with shutting the affected engine down at the flare. Initial investigations show an exhaust clamp had failed allowing the exhaust to slightly separate behind the carby-heat shroud which forced the hot exhaust gas onto the affected cables. Further examination ongoing. |
